Below you'll find a few examples of my learning design work where I blend creativity, humor, and practical project management skills with a deep understanding of what makes learning stick for adult learners.
I work across the full learning spectrum—needs assessment, program design, implementation, and evaluation—and create everything from blended learning solutions to fully asynchronous e-learning courses using video, animation, and emerging tools like generative AI.
.
I'm skilled with tools like Articulate, Camtasia, Canva, and various LMS platforms, and I'm always adding to my technology repertoire.
Designed a simple e-learning piece on how to run effective and efficient meetings, as part of a larger curriculum for people managers. Worked with Subject Matter Experts to curate content and incorporated feedback from several stakeholders.
This e-learning piece, also a part of a manager curriculum, was used to help newer people managers better understand when, what, and how they should share relevant company information with their teams. I partnered with a Subject Matter Expert in Internal Communications to draft the content and used design principles to make it digestible for learners.
Built a Compensation 101 training for people managers using Articulate Rise, in partnership with Subject Matter Experts in Compensation and Internal Communications. Course included knowledge checks, live videos and interactive graphics. Goal was to educate managers on how compensation decisions were made to support and inform their direct reports during promotion and annual review times. Because of the sensitive nature of this topic, I'm unable to share a snapshot of the design and content. The e-learning contained 8 sections.
I developed this course in partnership with colleagues in video production. I designed and developed the course content, wrote the script, and taught the material. My colleagues coached me on video delivery, led the filming, animation and editing. Since posting in 2018, we've had 3400 students and 120 positive reviews.
This is a video I created using Powtoon, in partnership with colleagues on a facilities team. The purpose was to educate employees on the importance of composting in office and share how they could effectively participate and make an impact.
